Prison? Why am I in prison?

What am I doing in prison? Shouldn't I at least get a lawyer or something?

I didn't think it would be this depressing to be honest. What with all the fairy tales I've been told I thought it would be much worse, like with torture and all that.

So, I was wondering, are all prisons like this one?

[Lotti had just come out of solitary confinement after basically hitting a guard just because she didn't want to follow his orders. Covered in blood, Lotti had healed partly already, so all damage she had gotten yesterday was just as good as gone, except for blood patches that were left.
